Barbara’s topic was “Beautiful Backyard Birds”. Her presentation was extremely informative as well as warm and enjoyable. She touched on different types of cameras and lenses, noting that an iPhone is not capable of taking the type of photos she is displaying.

At 10:15 AM, the members socialized and enjoyed a slideshow highlighting activities from the past year.
At 10:30, President Connie Stelzenmuller welcomed the members to our Annual Meeting with Awards.  She thanked those who were involved in securing the venue for our annual meeting—Lyn Marinchak, Binney McCague and Edwina White.

June 2023 Stoneleigh

There were seven of us weeding yesterday–Sandy Beale, Bonnie Buchak, Judi Garst, Michele Jameson, Julie Roegge, Presley Schwinn and Connie Stelzenmuller. The weather was wonderful despite the air quality resulting from fires in Canada and NJ.  We gathered in the beginning as usual for instructions from Sam Nestory and Kristen Ryan, the Stoneleigh staff, about which weeds to pull.  There are always some freebie plants, not weeds, to transplant into our own gardens.
