Our Weed Wrangle at Stoneleigh

On Tuesday, November 2, The Gardeners gathered for a Weed Wrangle for their last workday at Stoneleigh. We’ll be back as a group in April 2022. It was damp and overcast, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying being together.

I’m giving thank-you’s to Margot Patterson, Bonnie Buchak, Judy Shekmar, Judi Garst and Michele Spence, who made it to the Stoneleigh work day today, Tuesday, October 5. We enjoyed one another.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have Sandy Beale, our chair or Sarah Collier our vice chair.  Sandy fell backward down a set of stairs on her backside and banged herself up.  Sarah is still recovering from her fall and must wear her collar for another two months.

Our garden club members are on the move doing and seeing interesting and important outreach in Zone V activities as well as in our own club.  We are rapidly coming to the end of the calendar year and thought this would be a good time to write up some of the activities that The Gardeners have already participated and look forward to finishing our fiscal year with Christmas arrangements for Surrey Services, Eldernet and Inglis House and a big trip ...
