The Gardeners Pollinator Project

Devon Elementary Pollinator Project

This spring, members of the Gardeners partnered with Devon Elementary school to plant a pollinator garden in raised beds at the school. Although the scope of the program changed when the State legislature enacted stringent backround check requirements for anyone coming in contact with children, we went ahead and created the garden for the school.

The 2015 PHS Flower Show

An ice storm at the beginning of the flower show week and a major snow storm toward  the end didn’t deter our visitors.   PHS announced that they enjoyed a 10 percent increase in visitors over last year and more than 15,000 people joined the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society by the end of the show.  That’s amazing!  What is more amazing is that The Gardeners captured the Margaret Buckley Zantzinger award for the garden club with the most points in Competitive ...
