In the last months of 2012, the Gardeners participated in two outreach projects. The first was the decorating of Woodford House in Fairmount Park in November. We were asked to return after a very successful outing last year- this year’s Theme was Rebecca Frank’s tea, and as you can see, the Gardeners did a wonderful job carrying out the theme in the kitchen, dining room and staircase!

Then in our annual Greens workshop, held at the Church of the Redeemer at our December 11 meeting, the Gardeners created dozens of lovely arrangements that were taken to area nursing homes and to Surrey services, who thanked us in their newsletter. We enjoyed making the arrangements, and it brightened everyone’s day!
