Floral Design Awards

Dorothy H. Crawford Arrangement Award
Awarded for the most points in Class A

Novice Bowl
Given by Mrs. Samuel E. Slaymaker, Jr. for the most points in Class B (novice classes)

Silver Bud Vase
Given by Mrs. Stockton A. Andrews for the most points in outside floral design classes

Horticulture Awards

Mary Helen Lloyd Trophy
A pair of wine coolers awarded for the most points in the Horticultural Classes

The Dorrance Daffodil Award
Given by Jane E. Moore, Jr. in remembrance of Carter Dorrance for the best daffodil in the Spring Show

Rose Bowl
Given in remembrance of Mary Crozer Page. Awarded to the best rose specimen in The Gardeners Spring Flower Show

Anna Hunter Moss Cup
Awarded for the most points in outside shows

Nurserymen’s Bowl – 1979
Novice Horticulture Award

The Donaldson Cactus/Succulent Award
Given in remembrance of Deb Donaldson for the best cactus/succulent in a Club Show

Floral Design and Horticulture Awards

The Gardeners’ Bowl
Nurserymen’s Bowl 1997
Given to the member who has enthusiastically and successfully exhibited in club shows but may not necessarily have accumulated the most points

Huey Platter
Given by Mrs. Arthur Baird Huey for the most points in the Arrangement and Horticulture Classes combined. A minimum of three entries required in horticulture and three entries in floral design

The Paula S. Fisher Award
Awarded to a member of The Gardeners who has shown creativity in both
the art of gardening and flower arranging and has a keen sense of the
natural world around her and shares these talents with others. May only be awarded once to an individual member

Photography Awards

The Crowell Photography Bowl
Given by Elizabeth Crowell to be awarded to the Gardner earning the most points in photography in The Gardners’ Shows, GCA Shows and GCA Publications combined

The Longacre Photography Trophy
Given by Eileen Longacre to be awarded to the Gardener earning he most points in photography in The Gardeners’ club photography show

Service Awards
