The Gardeners Spread Kindness to Those in Need

♪ First we do an inreach, then we do an outreach—that’s what we’re all about! ♪

The Gardeners rise to the occasion every Spring when we reach out to our non-profit groups in need of some kindness and flood them with spring bouquets. This Spring was no different.

Inglis House, Bryn Mawr Extended Care, Wayne Nursing Home and Dalesford Assisted Living were the recipients this year for our beautiful arrangements; and, as you would have expected, these facilities were overwhelmed with the color, variety, and design of these gorgeous arrangements that they will use within their facilities or on trays delivered to folks who are shut-ins.

With gratitude, we thank Jill Inverso who made one of the deliveries–even with tree people at her home hindering her exit. We again were grateful to Sally Bauer who delivered and organized her band of arrangers—Betsy Crowell, Judi Garst and Sandy Nesbitt. Also, nothing stands in the way of Sally either. When she realized–due to a last minute addition–that she needed more containers and flowers, off she went so not to disappoint.

Audrey Dempster and Connie Stelzenmuller were at the eastern end receiving arrangements for Inglis House. They received more amazing arrangements thanks to Wendy Morse, Betsy Crowell and Michele Jameson.
We made and delivered just under 100 arrangements.
