Flowers for the Ronald McDonald House

On Monday, November 5th, Betsy Crowell, Karen Helm and Michele Spence made the trip in to The Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia to adorn the public spaces with fresh flower arrangements and bouquets. Karen had purchased the majority of the flowers at Trader Joes on Sunday, and Betsy and Michele each added some more, so that we were able to fill ample vases and brighten up the House. Here are some photos from our trip:

  • Betsy and Michele working their magic.
  • Our handiwork, all lined up on a table in the dining room.
  • Betsy with her bright and cheery arrangement for the main corridor of the House.

By the way, while checking out at Trader Joes in Gateway shopping Center with a cart full of flowers, several employees asked what they were for. When Karen told them they were going to be used to decorate the Ronald McDonald house, the Assistant Manager added two more large bunches as a donation!
Thank you, Trader Joes!
